Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Design:
  • Understand product requirements and convert them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Define testing scope, acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Peer review test cases to minimize rework and maintain high-quality standards.
• Test Execution & Automation:
  • Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple environments.
  • Utilize Wipro’s model-based testing approach for efficient test generation.
  • Automate repetitive processes using VB macros, GUI automation tools, and scheduling scripts.
  • Design and execute automation frameworks and prepare test reports.
• Defect Management & Reporting:
  • Identify, log, and track software defects with detailed replication steps.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues quickly and retest fixes.
  • Generate cycle-end test execution dashboards and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure all testing is completed within SLA timelines and customer expectations.
  • Deliver error-free, high-quality testing outputs with minimal process exceptions.
  • Provide feedback on product usability, serviceability, and potential quality risks.
• Customer Interaction & Documentation:
  • Communicate test results and defect reports clearly to stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers via email, calls, and reporting tools.
  • Document efforts accurately in tools such as eCube, TMS, and other project trackers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience with test case design, functional testing, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with model-based testing and test management systems (TMS, JIRA, etc.).
• Good knowledge of VB macros, GUI automation, and scripting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet strict deadlines.
