About the Role

S&P Global Mobility is looking for fresh graduates who are passionate about data, analytics, and the automotive industry to join our Global Data Operations (GDO) – Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) team. As a part of this team, you will work with over 200 vehicle attributes for the North American market, helping maintain high-quality, actionable data that integrates into multiple S&P Global products.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Data Analyst (VIN Team), you will:

  • Research, Process & Maintain Vehicle Data: Conduct detailed research and manage data related to 200+ vehicle attributes for the North American market.
  • Data Transformation: Write and execute SQL queries, transform extracted data into Excel for analysis, and code the results into internal tools and applications.
  • Investigate Client Queries: Analyze client questions and Salesforce cases, identify discrepancies in coded data, and provide findings to vertical leads.
  • Provide Actionable Insights: Support customers by delivering accurate and valuable intelligence that enhances S&P Global products.
  • Identify & Drive Process Improvements: Look for opportunities to automate and optimize existing data processes.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech or equivalent degree (Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferred).
  • Graduation Year: Freshers (2024 & 2025 graduates preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
    • Proficiency in Python, SQL/PLSQL, and understanding of relational databases.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersed team.
