Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to participate in technical discussions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming experience in Java or C++.
• Knowledge of systems software, algorithms, SQL, Spring, API development, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Availability to work full-time for 6 months outside of university term time.

As an Applications Engineering Intern at Google, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of Google’s internal business applications. You will work on a mix of challenges, from implementing and configuring vendor-sourced enterprise software to building custom applications and integrating them with internal systems.

• Work with analysts to translate business requirements into technical implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions that streamline internal workflows.
