Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about quality and eager to work on on-premise and cloud products across SIEM, EDR, and XDR technologies. This role involves manual testing, test automation development, performance and security testing, and working with the latest tools and technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirement documents and design comprehensive test cases to validate new features and impacted areas.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases for both new features and regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and communicate critical issues promptly using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Determine test cases suitable for automation and focus on high-ROI areas to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Write, execute, monitor, and debug automation scripts using programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure full test coverage and improve product quality.
  • Explore and gain expertise in cloud and on-prem infrastructure to strengthen testing capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience as an SDET with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong programming fundamentals (preferably in Python or Go) and OOP concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in RESTful API testing with tools like Postman.
  • Good knowledge of Linux systems – user management, network configurations, package managers, and Git repo setup.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps.
  • Exposure to non-functional testing such as performance, load, and stress testing.
  • Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and service metrics.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
